Alcântara 67
Beelt has successfully completed another rehabilitation project, Alcântara 67, revitalizing an underused house. In order to improve the experience of the residents, this transformation included a reformulation of the spaces, integrating the previously separate patio and thus creating a new living and leisure area.
In the interior finishes, the existing pine wood flooring was honed and varnished, keeping its natural color, bringing a rustic and welcoming touch. The walls of the bathrooms were tiled with glazed tiles, while the floors were covered with hydraulic mosaics. The house was painted predominantly in off-white, with the bedrooms given a special charm with paintings in blue, yellow and green.
Decorative friezes feature prominently in the interior decoration, applied to walls, ceilings, doors and closets, adding delicacy and elegance to the room. The doors have been fitted with ceramic handles, matching the classic style of the Valadares sanitary ware.
The kitchen kept its original space, but was given new furniture chosen to contrast with the traditional Portuguese tiles. The island, distinguished by its natural stone, stands out and divides the space from the living room, offering functionality and style.
Outside, the balcony was extended and fitted with a new metal railing, harmonizing with the outside staircase. The Santa Catarina tile floor was laid in a herringbone pattern, providing durability and aesthetics to the space. An elevated tank with a water filtration system, internally lined with green glazed tiles, blends in perfectly with the external environment, which also has flowerbeds and a gargoyle for water outlets.
The interior design project was developed by Atelier Poeira Design, bringing a mix of tradition and modernity, resulting in a renovated, elegant house that is ready to be lived in.
