Beelt has completed the rehabilitation of a 1990s apartment located in Lisbon in a project that combined the modernization of infrastructures with the introduction of distinctive architectural elements. The layout renovation aimed to optimize the space and enhance storage capacity by creating new cabinets and a walk-in closet in the master suite.
The intervention carried out by Beelt included civil construction works, such as demolitions, the construction of masonry walls, and the application of plasterboard ceilings and walls with integrated rock wool for acoustic insulation. Additionally, we applied new flooring, ceramic coverings, and paintwork, and all apartment infrastructures, including water, sewage, electricity, and telecommunications (ITED), were renewed.
This project stood out for the use of high-quality materials and a meticulous attention to detail. The herringbone oak flooring, applied throughout most of the apartment, ensures a seamless visual continuity between spaces. In the bathrooms, indirect lighting enhances the new coverings, adding color and personality to these areas.
In the living room, a fixed architectural element in masonry and plasterboard was built, blending functionality with architectural detail, in harmony with the fireplace renovation. The arched feature stands out as one of the project’s most distinctive elements, bringing fluidity and identity to the space. Complementing this, glass doors with an iron frame separate the living areas from the entrance hall, introducing lightness and brightness while creating a balanced contrast between industrial character and the elegance of curved forms.
Beyond the execution of the work, Beelt played a crucial role in the management and coordination of various subcontractors, ensuring the seamless integration of different tasks and delivering a modern, sophisticated space tailored to the client’s needs.
