São Miguel
This intervention arose from the owner’s desire to make use of his attic, which was abandoned and had no use whatsoever. With the help of Beelt, this area was transformed into a natural extension of the house, and a living room, two small bedrooms and a bathroom were designed.
In a “bare” space where the original wooden structural system of the ceramic tile roof was visible, it was essential to take care of thermal insulation, as well as making the most of natural lighting. The intervention carried out was in-depth, initially involving the rehabilitation and restoration of the roof’s wooden structure, with occasional reinforcements in the most critical areas, as well as thermal insulation on the roof, followed by the installation of new electrical, water and sewage systems, the creation of partitions, and all the cladding, painting and carpentry.
The refurbishment of this attic was a success and Beelt was able to transform it into a comfortable and useful space. Another project with no budget deviations and delivered on time.
